Sensata Technologies, Inc. AR Analyst in Sofia, Bulgaria

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for interfacing directly with our customers throughout the world, both on the phone and via email. The AR Accountant will book bank statements on a daily basis; review and process credit/debit memos, and reconcile customer receivable balances. The AR Accountant will be responsible for communication with overdue customers and for the collection progress of overdue invoices.


Stratify collection activities to maximize cash receipts;

Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment;

Strive to get a promise to pay from the customer;

Negotiate payment schedule with the overdue customers;

Communication with customers in respect of missing documents and information via phone,

email, mail;

Send statements of account proactively to our customers;

Investigate and resolve customer queries, payment discrepancies;

Work pro-actively with other departments to solve issues;

Reporting of overdue customers on a weekly basis;

Recommend bad debt write-offers;

Maintain accurate records about the customer payment status.

Support other reporting activities, as required;

Assist in solving problems in Accounts Receivable team;

Support other accounting projects, as necessary


Background in Finance, Accounting, Economy or relevant experience in the field;

Very good verbal and written English language skills;

Knowledge in second foreign language is an advantage;

Experience with an ERP system would be considered as an advantage;

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and

employees in a professional manner;

Proficient with MS Office applications;

Good organizational and problem-solving skills;

Pay attention to detail;

Team player with result orientated outlook;

Ability to thrive in a dynamic growth-oriented environment
