Sensata Technologies, Inc. Corporate Communications Manager in Sofia, Bulgaria

Working closely with the senior management, the communication manager's main purpose is to ensure external (government, local authorities and communities, job applicants, universities etc.) and internal audiences (employees and management) are kept informed and engaged on a positive way about Sensata as reliable investor, good neighbour and employer.

Main responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the senior management on global and local level in order to support company teams' business strategies;

  • Develops and executes communication and PR strategies and plans;

  • Uses various approaches (advertising, PR, marketing etc.), and communication channels (social media, corp. web site, printed media, newsletters etc.);

  • Participates in planning, developing and execution of company branding campaigns and events, recruitment initiatives (job fairs, “Open Doors Day” events, etc.);

  • Plans and organizes corporate social responsibility activities;

  • Prepares organization’s internal/external response to crisis PR situations;

  • Liaises with externals vendors and agencies to ensure that their work meets the organization's requirements, deadlines and budget;

  • Manages communications budget.


  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, Business Administration or related;

  • Professional qualification in Markeing, PR - CIPR, CIM or similar would be an advantage;

  • The ideal candidate would have 5-7 years of previous and related experience;

  • Fluent in English - both written and oral;

  • Digital skills: Social media, Int. communication and collaboration tools, apps; digital video, MS Office;

  • Very good communication skills;

  • Emotional inteligence, team- and people-orientation, cultural and diversity awareness.
