VMware EMM - Patching Administrator in Sofia, Bulgaria

VMware is looking for a SCCM / Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Patch Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the patch management of desktop, laptop and mobile devices using a variety of different tools. Additionally the take care of the other patch management software used internally by End User Services organization to patch the endpoint devices, which includesmobile devices , desktops, laptops of various make and model including Apple Hardware. As EMM administrator you will perform tasks related to Mobile Application Management (MAM). You will be joining VMWare End User Services via the Device Services team and will be working with some of the best talents in the End User Computing Division.

Required e xperience:

  • Experience in patch management on windows technologies

  • Working knowledge of configuration management and package management tools

  • Implementing software deployments and patching vulnerabilities

  • Experience with patch image deployment/configuration tools such as SCCM, Airwatch, Mac Tools

  • Understating of tiered web application stacks, shared libraries, and virtual machine appliances

  • Identify core application dependencies on highly diverse environments

Skills which will be considered a plus:

  • Experience developing testing and deployment automation scripts and running audit reports a plus

  • Automation experience with PowerShell, Powercli, python, perl, vbScriptetc is a plus

  • Experience working with AirWatch …

  • Hands on experience with SCCM (any version)

  • Experience patching macOS in Enterprise environments

  • Experience in maintaining Linux in Enterprise environments

  • Experience with VMWare ESXi (vSphere) server virtualization
