Job location(s): Sofia

The FAP (Freight Audit Payment) Specialist with French is expected to be the contact for carriers for different modes for all questions around freight invoice contents versus the accruals in the applicable financial and TMS systems. You should also well understand the CTL`s (Cargill transport and logistics) and BU`s strategy to apply them to the daily tasks.

Major Tasks

  • You will be responsible for receiving and validating incoming invoices for transport to meet legal requirements

  • You will perform connection with the SE Truck Specialists in order to resolve issues like delayed payments, demurrage costs, additional charges, etc.

  • You will control invoiced amounts versus information in the system and communicates freight invoices with the Financial Department of the business unit and the carriers. You will be looking for discrepancies.

  • You will collect documentation related to the transport and performs check for discrepancies.

  • You will Issue debit notes to a carrier in case of a commodity damage or loss

  • You will keep clear record of all received papers and archives them accordingly

  • You will provide scanned papers to the BU within short deadlines

  • You will stay in connection with the BU employees in order to provide them with the necessary transport and logistics information and support

  • You will register the necessary data into the availbale TMS system, inclusive but not limited to creating accruals

  • You will receive, analyse and accept/reject extra costs related to the transport


  • Secondary level of education

  • Minimum 2 years job experience in supply chain, transportation or Finance.

  • Preferably experience in Logistics AND Finance.

  • Very good level of English and French(verbal and written)

  • Finance background is preferred

  • Knowledge of transport processes

  • Familiar with ERP systems (knowledge of SAP) is a plus

  • Good knowledge of Excel

  • Good communication skills

  • Be able to work under pressure meeting short deadlines

  • Good co-operator

  • Accurate and with eye for details

  • Team player
