Position Purpose

This position is responsible for the the conversion of records from paper to electronic media in support of Cargill PRTP team. This position is responsible for carrying out a variety of image capture functions, including those related to the receipt, document preparation, scanning, indexing, and re-packaging of information. The candidate will interface with personal computer (PC) applications as well as numerous scanning and indexing applications. He/she must maintain the integrity of the hard copy document as well as digitize them so that they are complete, legible, in order, and otherwise reflective of the hard copy document being scanned. The position will collaborate closely with FSS PRTP Teams, Subject Matter Expert, Operational Excellence, FSS PRTP team.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Document preparation - Removing staples, binders, repairing tears and otherwise sorting and filing box records so that they are scanned in order.

  • Scanning hard copy and digital copy files to electronic images into TIF/PDF images, ensuring that the images are OCR'd to be searchable.

  • Assuring the scanned image is complete, clear, and searchable.

  • Upload manually scanned documents.

  • Archival of the scanned documents.

  • Reporting on the scanned volume.

  • Other duties, as specified by the Team Lead.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

  • High school degree.

  • Good level of English, written and oral.

  • Self-starter with good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently with limited supervision.

  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

  • Detail oriented skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree.

  • Experience of working within a shared services organization.

  • Experience of business migration and creation of effective desktop procedures & Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Experience within a multi-cultural, high volume and high value team environment.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Working knowledge of ERP (JDE/SAP) PRTP modules.

  • Working knowledge of a document management/workflow system.

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint.
