VMware Tools Administrator in Sofia, Bulgaria
VMWare is looking for a Tools System Administrator for its End User Services team. Tools system administrator is responsible for implementing the deployment of tools like support Assist, Dell Command Suite, Office Telemeter server, Packaging tools. The tools system Administrator must be able to work on any end user computing tools required to deploy, administer, report and manage the end user devices. Tools Administrator will be joining VMWare End User Services via the Device Services team and will be working with some of the best talents in the End User Computing Division.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Tools Administration
Technical troubleshooting skills (WMI, SQL language for query and report development)
Ability to build new tools using programming methods and modify existing tools per the need of the End User Services
Excellent understanding of McAfee EPO, Encryption, password management tools.
Good knowledge on Windows Server and client operating systems
Knowledge on software packaging and distribution tools such as SCCM, Altiris, Adminstudio and similar tools
Good understanding of software deployment process
Good understanding of patch management using WSUS
Should have excellent communication skill
Knowledge in Active Directory
Knowledge in Linux to build the tools for Linux OS and application
Skills which will be considered a plus:
In depth Knowledge on Windows 8, 10, 2008, 2012
Knowledge on Powershell scripting, VB Scripting, Power Cli, Python
Airwatch Administration Knowledge
Experience patching macOS in Enterprise environments
Experience in maintaining Linux in Enterprise environments
Experience with VMWare ESXi (vSphere) server virtualization, Desktop Virtualization
