Sensata Technologies, Inc. Warehouse Manager in Plovdiv, Bulgaria
To be the owner of the Inbound and Outbound Logistics operations and ensure the performance, quality and compliance with the global company practices. Report to the Bulgaria Logistics manager and liaise with the logistics managers of the other sites in Bulgaria (Botevgrad and Plovdiv). Manage and facilitate a local Logistics team to ensure regular, timely and quality execution of the Logistics related activities and serve as an escalation point for the location.
To review and optimize the warehouse and logistics operations in Plovdiv in accordance with the company standards
To evaluate the warehouse and logistics employees performance and build a strong cohesive team
To manage and control the warehouse an logistics activities in Sofia (outbound logistics)
To manage the activities of the warehouse personnel and ensure the resources are effectively used and the work schedules and tasks are completed;
Plan, prepare and develop work schedules according to workloads and budget.
Manage the performance of the Warehouse and logistics team and provide timely feedback to address performance issues
Align and drive global and regional initiatives on service delivery enhancements, modifications and improvements;
Monitor, measure and evaluate the quality, compliance and performance, take timely corrective/preventive actions; Ensure the team is motivated and productive;
Develop proper company culture within the team, ensuring effective communication to the team members and within the teams;
Focal point of communicating with the other departments, management, vendors and customers on Customer Relations matter. Represent the Logistics Team in performance review meetings.
Liaise and collaborate with the other company units and ensure the cross-unit processes are handled and executed according to the roles and responsibilities
Prepare performance and compliance reports and communicate performance status to the Bulgaria Logistics manager on a weekly and periodic basis.
To watch closely and control the safe use of the machines and equipment by the personnel;
To track and control the efficiency of the procedures, the usage of the are and preservation of the equipment;
To track and control the correct and safe products storage, the effective usage of the warehouse area and keeping the principle “first in first out”;
To prioritize and allocate the tasks so that teams resources are effectively used and work schedules and tasks are completed;
To analyze the operations and implement continual improvements in the warehouse and logistics in order to increase the efficiency and reduce cost.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Engineering; Logistics preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
3-5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics (in a manufacturing environment preferred);
Strong Microsoft Office (Exel; Access; PowerPoint; etc.) proficiency and experience with ERP planning systems;
Project Management experience
Experience with Bulgaria Customs and the Import/Export procedures is a plus

Ready to travel between Bulgaria locations (15%) and Internationaly when required (2%)
