Purpose and Objective:

We work in an agile development team and our mission is to define and develop enabling technology as well as management tools and value added services to help customers deploy and manage existing SAP applications in virtualized data centers and cloud. Our service is available under http://cal.sap.com at http://cal.sap.com/ .

Expectations and Tasks:

• Write java code in SAP Cloud Appliance Library modules and tests

• Active participation in the development process and excellent team work

• Ensure high quality of delivered software

Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledge in Enterprise Java is an advantage: JPA, Web Services, Java Servlets, JMS

• Experience with Eclipse environment is an advantage

• Theoretical and practical background in OOP, design patterns, data structures is an advantage

• Experience with Cloud is an advantage (Amazon, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience with Containers (e.g. Docker) and Kubernetes is an advantage

Education and Qualifications:

• Student in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Informatics or equivalent

• Willingness to learn new concepts and technologies

• Excellent team player, self-motivated, passionate and highly driven

• Good time management and prioritization skills, multitasking

• Fluency in English
