The Process Specialist is responsible to support the implementation and regular operation of ITIL aligned processes (Change Management/ Problem Management/ Capacity & Capability Management/Resource Management/ Records Management/One-Lead/ etc.) for the EMEA Region. In addition, the Process Specialist ensures that expectations with regards to time-frames, compliance, quality, process related targets are met. This should be achieved through ongoing coordination, communication, planning and executing on crossteam level.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

  • Support one or more HPE ITIL aligned processes and process related projects to achieve

  • business, compliance, efficiency and quality related goals

  • Apply subject-matter expertise and analytical skills to evaluate process change impacts from

  • operational perspective

  • Directly communicate with process owners/stakeholders regarding related tasks and operational

  • updates

  • Efficiently use all related tools to enhance performance according to the set parameters

  • Act as subject matter expert for the related processes for both internal and external contacts

  • Ensure that processes are followed and planned tasks are done on time

  • Propose and execute corrective/preventive actions aiming process improvement

  • Design and automate statistics and reports as per process requirements and customer needs

  • Act in close cooperation with other teams and organizations to achieve defined goals

  • Communicate with external HPE customers and vendors if needed

  • Be responsible for respective documentation and data management

  • Handle administrative tasks related to daily process support and overall process functionality


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • Experience in project/process or ITIL infrastructure management is an advantage

  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Structured work approach

  • Solution oriented

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team

  • Proactive and able to work under pressure

  • Excellent knowledge MS Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

  • Process knowledge of GSD delivery processes is an advatange

  • ITIL Foundation v3 certification is an advantage
