Position Purpose & Summary

This position is a business analyst role within the Global Mobility organization. The role is responsible for managing a new Global Mobility technology solution (AssignmentPro by Equus Software) and will be involved with the design and implementation of the solution. This includes functioning as the primary super user, responsibility for process improvement, and report develop and distribution. The role will ensure that Global Mobility is maximizing the AssignmentPro platform by ensuring that all modules are being effective used, updating the workflow as processes change and continuously seeking opportunities to automate functionality while ensuring legal, tax and financial compliance.

The role will also manage the bi-monthly system updates and serves as the primary internal resource for resolving issues that arise, including process, technology and interface related. This position requires a desire to work with various levels of employees and management, along with various cultures.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support the implementation and assist with ongoing system training. Includes system configuration, data dictionary overrides, data imports, ftp process management, user id creation, and user report creation, including the preparation, consolidation and distribution of scheduled and/or automated reports. Additionally, responsible for ongoing system maintenance which includes importing and validating remuneration data, provider information and exchange rates, new user set up, vendor set up and organization updates.

  • 15% Create business documentation, user manuals and process flows that will support the use of the system . Identify and write content to fill gaps in current user guides. Also, update user guides to coincide with system enhancements. Assist Cargill Global Mobility team in becoming more efficient with the application through training, communications, software guides, etc.

  • Work with Equus on new releases to determine impact and quality assurance . Includes testing and documenting the impact of any change. Additionally, serve as the primary point of contact with Equus’ technology team to resolve system or performance issues.

  • Resolve issues and questions related to system functionality and integration with other systems (via web services and FTP), including HRIS, Payroll, Tax, Vendor, SSO and others.

  • Design and implement process improvements that improve the workflow and functionality of the application . Seek novel and innovative approaches to how data is managed within the tool and improvements related to our financial and tax requirements.

  • Continually seek out information about both the relocation and software industry and apply that knowledge to business analyst activities.


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll, accounting, financial analysis, or system administration

  • Fluent in English - written & verbal

  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of formulas, macros, and VBA

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people; cross cultural communication skills and empathy desirable

  • Ability to handle confidential information, including sensitive compensation and financial information, and use of discretion and judgment necessary

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong desire and capability to learn new skills

  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities

  • Proven analysis skills sufficient to ensure that compensation package modeling and tax calculations are accurate

  • Demonstrated experience working with process flows and continuous improvement activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with payroll systems

  • Experience with taxation related to expatriates

  • Knowledge of Equus products and services including but not limited to: ReloAdvantage, GROW, AssignmentPro, PinPoint

  • SQL knowledge is a plus

  • Experience or education in the Information Technology field

  • Experience working with Crystal Reports or a similar system…
