The Talent Acquisition Consultant is accountable for providing strategic leadership for the end to end recruitment process, and for ensuring that HPE hires the best quality talent. Currently we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant for a temporary assignment 9-12 months.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

  • Consults with managers on the hiring process and develops a strategic plan to ensure successful recruitment of quality candidates.

  • Maintains ongoing relationships with hiring managers within a business and sub-region; develops relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Understands the Hiring Manager’s business

  • Ensures local staffing practices are compliant with global/regional initiatives and legal requirements, and meet business priorities.

  • Proactively uses e-recruitment tools and processes to source top qualified candidates.

  • Identifies key strategic sourcing strategies using expert knowledge of labor market, competition and external talent.

  • Proactively identifies and recruits passive internal & external job seekers; maintains long-term relationships with job seekers.

  • Maintains breadth of knowledge about external sourcing trends that impact staffing strategies (competitors, law).

  • Maximizes the usage of internal and external referrals to support strategic business recruitment needs,

  • Facilitates cooperation across HPE internal teams in order to ensure the recruitment process is effective.

  • Develops and maintains effective networks (e.g. job fairs, on campus, at events including conferences and trade-shows) to maximize visibility and attract top quality candidates.

  • Maximizes the use of all automatic pre-screening functionality in the staffing systems.

  • Effectively represents and markets the HPE employment brand to potential candidates.

  • Delivers high quality candidate shortlist, and presents short listed candidates to manager in effective manner with interpretation and analysis of data to aid decision-making

  • Define interview strategy with Hiring Manager

  • Participate in interviews, effectively debrief with Hiring Manager & consult on selection proposals and decisions

  • Effectively manages the candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Delivers rejection to a candidate in an honest, sensitive and professional manner

  • Pro-actively manages candidates through the entire life cycle to ensure retention of quality candidates.

  • Collaborates with hiring manager to create and deliver a comprehensive and compelling offers.


  • At least 2 years experience and proven success as a recruiter, known by clients for securing the best candidates via effective sourcing, engagement, assessment, and selection activities.

  • Proven success and experience in deploying pro-active sourcing strategies.

  • Ability to use web-based applicant tracking tools.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships and relationships with hiring managers, utilizing well-developed consulting skills to ensure success.

  • Excellent communication and language skills.

  • Strong relationship management skills for internal customers and candidates

  • Experience in interviewing and selection skills and techniques.

  • Strong team-working skills, partners and collaborates effectively with all stakeholders though the Recruitment process.

  • Operational experience in recruiting processes and systems.

  • Actively maintains breadth of knowledge about the external trends that impact talent acquisition strategies

  • Knowledge on labor trends. Bulgarian market knowledge preferred.

  • Fluent in English

  • Second foreign language such as French and German will be considered an advantage

  • MS Office

  • Bachelor/master degree
